Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist (Immunology)

Position description

You are a highly motivated, creative and collaborative individual with a strong enthusiasm for research in Immunology.  You have a strong desire for truth seeking and exploration of novel biology though the application of molecular and chemical biology techniques as well as pharmacological interrogation.  Prior experience working with primary human immune cells is highly desired.  You will employ state-of-the-art functional genomics tools, to conduct mechanistic studies across a range of primary human immune cells, to support the discovery and validation of novel targets for the treatment of severe inflammatory as well as autoimmune diseases.

  • Primary human immune cell isolation, culture, differentiation, and functional assays
  • De novo development of novel phenotypic and reporter assays
  • Measurement of cytokine production from multiple immune cell phenotypes (MSD/AlphaLISA).
  • Assisting with molecular biology and cloning: Gibson assembly, bacterial transformation, and DNA mini-/midi-preps among others.
  • Performing cellular biology related protocols: siRNA/shRNA, CRISPR, RNA extractions, RT-qPCR, Western blotting and imaging, ELISA based assays, Flow cytometry analysis among others.
  • Perform independent data analysis leading to contributing to scientific discussions, meetings, and presentations.
  • Maintain a safe and productive laboratory environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work as well as operate across scientific disciplines on multiple projects.


 Minimum of BS or MS in Immunology, Biology, or other relevant area
